Who is responsible for processing your personal data?

Restaurante Corales Tenerife, S.L. is the CONTROLLER of the USER’s personal data and informs the USER that such data will be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December (LOPDGDD).

What do we process your personal data for?

To maintain a commercial relationship with the user. The processing operations envisaged are:

• Sending commercial and promotional communications by email, SMS, social media or any other present or future electronic or physical means. These communications will be sent by the CONTROLLER and will be related to its products and services.
• Conduct market research and statistical analysis.
• Process requests, enquiries and any type of petition made by the USER through the contact methods available on the CONTROLLER’S website.
• Respond to enquiries and any other requests submitted by the USER through the contact channels available on the CONTROLLER’S website.
• Send online newsletters about news, offers and promotions related to our activity.
• Carry out statistical analysis and website usage studies in order to improve the services provided and enhance the user browsing experience.

What is the legal basis for processing your personal data?

Processing is carried out in accordance with Article 6 of the GDPR as follows:

• With the USER’S consent: sending commercial communications and newsletters.
• Under the CONTROLLER’S legitimate interest: carrying out market research, statistical analysis and handling requests submitted by the USER.

How long will we keep your personal data?

The data will be retained for no longer than necessary to fulfil the purpose of the processing or as required by law. Once no longer needed, they will be securely deleted or anonymised.

Who do we share your personal data with?

No personal data will be disclosed to third parties unless necessary for the development of the purposes described herein.

In particular, reservations made through the website may be managed by an external restaurant booking platform. The data provided by the user during the booking process will be processed in accordance with the terms and privacy policy of that platform.

Likewise, certain providers of technological services, web hosting, communications or analytics may have access to the data as data processors, having signed the corresponding agreements required by current data protection regulations.

What are your rights?

The USER has the following rights:

• The right to withdraw consent at any time.
• The right of access, rectification, portability and erasure of personal data, as well as the right to restriction of or objection to processing.
• The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (www.aepd.es) if you believe that the processing does not comply with current regulations.

2. MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE USER

By ticking the corresponding boxes and entering data in the fields marked with an asterisk (*) on the contact form or provided through download forms, USERS expressly, freely and unequivocally accept that their data are necessary for the provider to process their request, while the inclusion of data in the remaining fields is voluntary. The USER guarantees that the personal data provided to the CONTROLLER are accurate and undertakes to communicate any changes thereto.
The CONTROLLER informs USERS that all data requested through the website are mandatory, as they are necessary to provide an optimal service. Data identified as mandatory are required to properly manage newsletter subscriptions or reservations requested by the user. Failure to provide such data may prevent the corresponding service from being delivered.

3. SECURITY MEASURES

In accordance with current personal data protection regulations, the CONTROLLER complies with all provisions of the GDPR and LOPDGDD regarding the processing of personal data under its responsibility, particularly the principles set out in Article 5 of the GDPR, under which data are processed lawfully, fairly and transparently in relation to the data subject and are adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed.

The CONTROLLER guarantees that it has implemented appropriate technical and organisational policies and measures to comply with the security requirements established by the GDPR and the LOPDGDD, in order to protect the rights and freedoms of USERS, and has provided them with the appropriate information to enable them to exercise those rights.
